right now the only Visual objects are geometric primitives; there isn't any
way to import models from a CAD program. This is a deficiency and one I'd
love to fix. There's a small chance I'll do it this coming semester (for
credit needed to graduate, so I'll hvae some chance of getting it done).

look at the stonehenge demo program for a way of overriding the default
navigation system.
