For Linux, there's almost no difference between beta16 and beta20. What's special about beta20 is that it was built using gtk2 on Windows. This is why there isn't a beta20 compressed source file posted at sourceforge. The only significant change since beta16 as far as Linux is concerned is the file in CVS vpython-core2/src/python/curve.cpp, where there is a correction to permit constructing a curve initially with a single position coordinate.
