Unfortunately, I still am getting the same errors I always have when I try to build visual-4.beta5 (when running .configure) checking for GTK... configure: error: gtkglextmm 1.2, pangoft2, glibmm-2.4, and pangomm-1.4 libglademm-2.4 are required on Unix-like systems Now one thing I notice immediately that differs on my system from the instructions above is that I do not have an autogen.sh script in the root. If you can help me get through the config/build steps, I'm willing to look into Aquafication. My stumbling block with VPython has been my poor autoconf-fu. The commonest kind of trouble is that it is nearly reasonable, but not quite. Life is not an illogicality; yet it is a trap for logicians. It looks just a little more mathematical and regular than it is; its exactitude is obvious, but its inexactitude is hidden; its wildness lies in wait." --G.K. Chesterton |
