[Visualpython-users] more info on installing vpython on Mac OS 10.4

Martin,

I have gcc version 4.0.0. Since I get the error "Failed: Can't  
resolve dependency "gcc3.1" for package "visual-py23-2.1.9-6" (no  
matching packages/versions found)" when installing from the source, I  
assume that the problem is that I don't have gcc3.1.

Is there a way to tell Fink to use gcc 4.0.0 instead of 3.1?

I'm pretty sure this is the problem.
