[Visualpython-users] make can't find header files

Hi All.

Mac OS X, 10.2.6, December 2002 dev tools.

After discovering some problems with my Fink installation, I 
reinstalled Fink 0.5.3 from scratch. I also installed Python22, Gtk+, 
and all of the other packages I had previously installed, including 
gtkglarea. I'm using the very latest Mac OS X installer dated 9 July. 
The problem is that make is complains about the absence of certain 
header files that ARE there. I can see them. As per the instructions, I 
did "./configure --prefix=/sw" followed by "make". Configure "sees" the 
header files as far as I can tell. I'm at a complete loss here. Anyone?
