[Visualpython-users] idlefork

The recent discussion about idlefork and SciTE reminded me that I don't use
idlefork, but I didn't remember why.  Now I remember. It doesn't work for
me.  (Win98, here)  After running a visual script once or twice it crashes
with a dialog box about a page fault.  The dialog box won't close, and won't
go away.  Gotta restart Windows.  I tried the alpha on SF, but that doesn't
work either.  For that one, after closing the visual window I get a dialog
telling my that vpython is still running, do I want to kill it?  Yes, but it
won't die.  At least this time I can use the Close Program dialog to wipe it
out.  Any clues about that?

So I'm using my fave texteditor, NoteTab Pro, and keeping a DOS window open.
Works fine, but no syntax highlighting.  Bells and whistles are possible,
but I'd have to figure out the editor's macro language to customize for
python.  I tried SciTE, and that seems to work.
