You might enjoy the attached program that lets you play with three-body
orbits. The first time you run the program it creates data files for some
interesting orbits. You can make your own simply by dragging the green star
to set its initial position and initial velocity. The nonplanar orbit was
constructed by Matt Kohlmyer by initially rotating the field of view before
dragging.
