The mechanisms for installing VPython on Linux have been further revised to 
simplify things as much as possible. We think we see a way using the Python 
"distutils" machinery to make them even simpler and more foolproof, but 
hopefully the new stuff will help for now. Please let us know about 
problems or success. Thanks.
