The simplest solution - put into your c:\Python20 directory the
following COMP_ZIP.BAT

zip -9 -u c:Numeric.zip Numeric\*.py Numeric\*.pyd
zip -9 -u c:DLLs.zip DLLs\cvisual.dll
zip -9 -u c:visual.zip visual\*.py  
etc.

and run it every time you need to create a new distribution (here all
the options are for free INFO-ZIP zip.exe utility).
