[Visualpython-users] make fails on visual 5.13

I run ./configure --prefix=$HOME/usr, then make and all seems to compile ok,
but then I get this error:
Compiling ./gtk2/rate.cpp
...
Linking cvisualmodule.la...
make[1]: *** [cvisualmodule.la] Error
1
make[1]: Leaving directory
`/home/luke/Downloads/visual-5.13_release/src'
make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
$

Any ideas what would have caused this?
