Apparently that was a good move to file that bug. Other people have become 
aware of it and are looking into it, now. Also people on the Python project 
itself, as the fix that modified the __doc__ behaviour might have some 
previously unexpected side effects as this one we're talking about. Anyway, 
here is their job ticket:
