[Visualpython-users] materials and textures on MacBook Pro simply not working

I've found that I simply can't get materials and textures working on  
my first generation MacBook Pro. I'm looking into getting either a new  
13" MacBook Pro (unibody) or a MacBook Air. Is anyone able to get both  
textures and materials to work on either of these machines? I'm at my  
wit's end with this problem. Updating my graphics driver isn't an  
option since I'm at Apple's mercy when it comes to drivers.
