The Intel Mac 5.0 installer included numpy 1.2.0 instead of the more 
recent 1.2.1. This has been corrected.

Experimentally, it seems that simply running the new installer leads to 
a working system, but if you want to stay very clean, before 
reinstalling with the latest installer you could delete the two numpy 
entries found in

/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.5/lib/python2.5/site-packages
