Hello: I am trying to run VPython, which uses OpenGL. I have a PC running WinXP Pro (Version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600). My computer has an AGP Nvidia GeForce2 MX 100/200 video card. I have updated the Driver Version to 7.1.8.9. (Th motherboard is an EPoX MVP3C2.) With that video card, I get this error message from the Python shell when I try to run any VPython program: "pythonw.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.", and WinXP wants to send an error message to Microsoft. I get that message even when I set display "Hardware Acceleration" to "None". I have been trying to solve this problem for a long time, and I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks. |
