[Visualpython-users] Multiple windows into a scene

Hi,

I want several windows for viewing the same scene, e.g. 
* 1) zoomed out for overview, and 2) for zooming in, or
* multiple views e.g. from above/front/right/zoomed.

The stereo-option for display does essentially that,
but those views cannot be controlled independent
from each other.

Is it possible to create multiple windows onto a scene,
other than for sterescopic viewing ?

A workaround, e.g. a separate scene for each view, and 
copy each object into all of them, seems rather clumsy...
