#5 read drop and conditioner patches

Here are the patches to main.cpp, main.h, process.cpp and
process.h

They are unified context diffs tared and
compressed.

One note: The dialog box's directory field
expects forward slashes (there would be a converter stuck in here
when the dialog is fixed).
