I wrote a generic "Hello, World!" console program using
Visual MinGW (version 0.51a on WindowsXP), and after
getting it to compile (using Build -> Build), I can't
get it to run. When I click Build -> Run, a command
prompt which says "Bad command or file name" and the
project directory. The command prompt is also sluggish
-- it takes it about half a second to process
keypresses. This is not my computer; I have an
AthlonXP 2200+, and the regular command prompt is fine.
I can execute the helloworld.exe program in the
directory, which displays the "Hello, World" string.
The target is specified as 'helloworld' in Projects ->
Settings -> Link -> Output file name.
Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug?
