Because the SourceForge SVN repository does not allow branch-specific access permissions, which is essential for our software development process, we have chosen to host the vIST/e source with BerliOS Developer (http://developer.berlios.de). To check out the vIST/e source type the following in a command-line terminal:

svn checkout http://svn.berlios.de/svnroot/repos/viste-tool/trunk viste-tool

This will download the contents of the trunk folder into a local folder called 'viste-tool'. The trunk folder should be accessible anonymously. If not, contact us at viste.tue at gmail.com. The vIST/e API documentation can be found at the following URL:

http://viste-tool.berlios.de/api
