I was wondering if you were planning to get an OS X
version up and out the door.

OS/X support is in the code, and it should be currently
possible to build a G4/G5 version of VirtualGL using the 2.0
beta2 source code and the Quicktime APIs provided by Apple.
An x86 version which uses the Intel Performance Primitives
(and should perform equally fast to the Linux and Windows
versions) is in the works. Since I don't have a Mac myself,
I have to rely on the user community to build the OS/X version.

But, of course, if some benevolent benefactor were to
provide SSh access to an OS/X machine, I could pretty easily
whip up some binaries and post them on SourceForge.

OS/X Intel binaries are now available with VGL 2.0beta3. Please test them if you have an Intel Mac. The VGL client should run as fast on Intel Macs as it does on Linux or Windows.

Someone else will have to build a PPC version, if that's desired, because I don't have such a machine available.
