I have never used Linux before but am very interested to do so. I have received a copy of virtual linux via PCPLUS and have burned the iso to cd. How do I now get the CD to boot from windows??

You dont actually, you have to set the cdrom as your boot device in bios, which can be accessed when you startup the computer .
Press delete or alt esc or f1 or something, it is brand different .
Then it should boot.
if it doesnt, please have a look at other inlays in the cdbnoot forum .
