#15 Boot Problem, Too

The previous request is also being encountered here, in
beautiful New Jersey.

One additional bit of info--the boot process goes to X
just fine, but leaves it and reverts to character based, lo-
res (with the penguin pic at the top of the page), flashes
about every two seconds, and then, finally, the 'disabled'
message shows up.

Well , sounds like you have a xsetup problem .
X server shuts down, because something isn't right .
Have you tried to choose 3.x instead of 4.x, or tried another
videodriver ?

If you dont get that question, your problem is caused by
videocard incompability, something i cant do anything about ,
for now atleast .

what videocard do you have . ?
