ok, I have started up the computer with the cd in
drive, it starts fine and asks me to pick how I want
to boot by picking a number. Since this is the first
time I have used virtual-linux I pick 1. It says it's
loading vmlinuz.............but after a while it
freezes, says "disk error 9d drive 9f press any key to
try again" after I press a key the system restarts and
the whole thing starts over again. How do I get it to
get past this stage and actually boot the OS?

ok, I fixed that problem by burning the image with winoncd,
but that created a whole new problem. Now when I choose 1
it loads vmlinuz and initrd.gz but, after that it
says "ready" and the system reboots. I tried selecting 4
and it booted to a prompt, but after restarting, now when I
choose 4 it simply restarts the system. Is there any way
to actually get this to work?
