Does this have networking support, specifically, can i
configure an ethernet card (dmfe) and a static IP lan
connection on this?

Yes , you can load any module included , either via
linuxconf , or manually , you can not save it though , so
the same hav to be done at everry boot .

It is quite easy to get it working , so have a go at it !
