I am interested in learning how to build a linux system, and the Linux fronm scratch project seems to be a great way to do this. However I need to have a running Linux system in order to prepare partitions and comile the system. Because of disk space and the fact that I would then like to use the system I build as my main linux system, I am going to be short on HD space, so I am wondering if it might be possible to use your VL as a way of getting round this problem. Mind you, I am probably running before I can walk on this one, but I am willing to try.
Thanks
Francis

Yep, i am quite certain that it will work !
I have put in everything you should need, as gcc
and most of the development libs .
It is however inpossible to put everything on one cd
Give it a shot :)
