VFS: Installation problems?

We find that sometimes, VFS.sys.check.pl may fails during downloading nt database from NCBI. It is not a problem of VFS, but instability of network. Please make sure all nt databases are downloaded and extracted successfully before proceeding.

Re-downloading the nt database is simple.

Just invoke"wget ftp://ftp.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/blast/db/nt.*.tar.gz" in your command line.

Where * denotes the failed parts.

And put the extracted files into (VFS_installation_dir)/annotation/nt/
