* implemented correct cursor placement after dd, cc
* implemented #dT?, #dF?, #cT?, #cF?, #yT?, #yF?
* automatic commandBuffer validity checking
This release may not be as stable as the previous release, due to some
rewrites in the code. Please report any problems you have.
Thx,

Hi all!
Is anybody interested in taking the job of release manager for the
viPlugin? I'd rather like to concentrate on the development part :)
What you should do:
- Extracting what's new information from ChangeLog.txt (easy)
- Add a release at sourceforge.net
- Announce on http://eclipse-plugins.2y.net
- Announce on freshmeat.net
Hope to hear from you (but don't expect it),
Michael

They have did some b*llshit with the pserver access. If pserver access doesn't work for you you can always do Import -> External plugin -> viPlugin! The psf seems to work only when you are viPlugin developer. (using the extssh method). For anonymous checkout try the following: First thing you have todo is open the CVS perspective! Then add a cvs location with the information give at the viPlugin CVS site on sourceforge (pserver, cvs.sourceforge.net, anonymous, ...). It doesn't work for me, but definitely should! I found the same instructions in the web over and over again! For more information have a look at: http://phpeclipse.sourceforge.net/tavi/index.php?page=ProjectCheckOut Hope it works for you! (Normal developer access works for me. sourceforge.net has a probably problem) Have fun, Michael ----- End forwarded message ----- |

HI!
Thx for the info! I'm currently writing a testsuite for the plugin so
things like that shouldn't happen anymore, but I'm implementing more
features than testcases :)
I've uploaded a new v0.1.3 that fixes this issue!
btw: CVS is online! I'm posting the Team Set to the homepage!
Have fun,
Michael

Michael, Searching seems to be broken in 0.1.2, It was working on previous versions, but in 0.1.2, it will find the first char and stop. also the n does not seem to be working on the search. Just a heads up. I am not sure if you were aware of this or if it is already fixed. Hi all!
Get it while it's hot:
* viEditor is now part of the plugin (see Usage for details, but
beware: it's not fully functional yet)
* p,P are vim compatible now
* some code structure changes
* yanking a selection resets the selection
* implemented counter for w,b (eg. 20w, 3b)
Have fun,
Michael

Do you think that you will have a chance to get the cvs-repository up and running? I would like use that to manage concurrent changes via cvs. I worked on a piece of code to convert (command)(number)(text object) into (number)(command)(text object) (e.g. d4w -> 4dw) currently viPlugin only handles 4dw. I have not tested it yet, but I will send you the file sometime later this weekend once I get it tested. I am very excited about this product.
Since I don't know much about Plugin development,
but I would like to help, I am writing a wish list.
Several things I would like to see
1. n-Shift-G
Takes you to like n.
2. Replacements global (e.g.
:%s/Import/import/g ) Replaces all occurances of
Import with import ...
3. Local Replacements (e.g.
:45,55s/TEST/test/g )
4. cw
5. set nu
Please let me know if there as been any thought about these features, and If not I may (with some direction) take a shot at them myself.
