when editing the label on a decision diamond, all decision diamond labels are changed; they all seem to reference the same value.

I second this one. It's also happening to the decision diamond and the input/output arrows. It's very annoying.

I see this issue as well in 0.21.1 - it is very annoying as it seems a bit pointless to have Violet if you can't make new decisions!
