To reproduce:
1. Open a new activity diagram
2. Create a Decision object and enter some text.
3. Create another Decision object.

Result: The new decision object is prepopulated with the same text as the old one. Changing one changes the other. Further, the Decision tool in the Diagram Tools side bar gets visually mangled.

Looks like a reference problem to me.

Environment: v0.21.1 standalone on Linux. Java package: sun-java6-jre

I'm having the same problem with the Signal Sending and Signal Receipt tools, but not with the Activity or Notes tools.

conclusion: there is only one instance of this shape.
There is a workaround though. by restarting the application, you can get (1) new instance in your diagram.
Bit lame, but the app starts up pretty quick. it works for me

This is fixed in the latest version from CVS (v0.21.2).

Have the exact same problem with Windows XP Professional and v0.21.1 standalone.
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_11-b03)

And yes it seems like the instanciator of that object is always refering to the same object. "Decision Object"

When you update the text the text update in every other decision objects, and it's also changing the Toolbar icon. (You see a line instead of the actual text but it's seems to follow the pattern of the text...)

If this is fixed already, then please give us another release build.
It's more than two years since the bug was known now and people (like me) are still having the issue.
