Hi Luis, I see that the log4j issue reported for linux (2039258) also happens with macos-ppc (I just updated the description to reflect this); so it's very likely that it also happens in windows. Let me know if you want to look into this issue . Otherwise I will assign it to me to start investigating. Here are more comments/suggestions/questions: 1- Remove vine_1.3.0.20071206b.macosx.carbon.x86.zip from org.mmi.vine/distribution/ (47MB, but not needed I guess). If you agree, I can remove it and commit the removal to CSV. What is this distribution/ directory for, anyway? 2- Plan for next release: - what requested features? - what fixes? - version of the release? - when? - which items you will be working on, and which ones you want me to take? Thanks, Carlos |

Luis, It seems I had a mess of different eclipse and delta pack versions sitting around. I started from scratch making sure I was using consistent versions and now I'm able to export to multiple platforms from my linux. :-) I'll send a new note regarding next steps. Carlos |

Hi Carlos found this in google: http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-621493.html maybe this should help. This is what I'm doing to try to enable the export of the product to multiple platforms, but so far with no success. I'm using Ganymede RCP and already have the RCP Delta pack [1] installed on an ubuntu box. According to [2], I went to the Preferences-> Plug-in devel -> Target platform and unchecked the "build target platform based on the target's installed plugins" option. Then clicked the reload button. However, when I try to export, I still get this error: Problems during export Unable to find plug-in: org.eclipse.equinox.launcher_1.0.1.R33x_v20070828. Please check the error log for more details. (btw, I don't see any message related with this in the error log). This *1.0.1.R33x* plugin is not actually under eclipse/plugins/ (althouth I see org.eclipse.equinox.launcher_1.0.100.v20080509-1800.jar there ..) Any thoughts? Do you know where the *1.0.1.R33x* is being referenced in the Vine project? Carlos Refs: [1] http://codeache.blogspot.com/2007/02/how-to-export-multi-platform.html.
