vimv / News: Recent posts

New release in Python, with the current full-feature set: rolling history file, mv includes moving between directories, multiple directories can be specified on the command-line, the ability to rename "hidden" files, basic error-reporting, alternative editors.

All feature-requests are closed, including the support for multiple simultaneous sessions.

Version 0.1 of vimv is available for download.

Usage:

On the command-line, type vimv, it will open the list of files in the current directory in vi. Make the changes, save and quit. The filenames are updated when you quit. If you delete a name (leave a blank line where a filename used to be), the file will be deleted.
