The configuration of Vimprobable

Compile time configuration

The configuration of Vimprobable can be changed before compiling by altering settings in the include-files.

The most important settings are to be found in the following files:

config.h
keymap.h

Per user configuration

There are a few files that can be edited to change the behaviour of Vimprobable.

When Vimprobable starts it tries to find the file $HOME/.config/vimprobable/vimprobablerc.

If this file exists, Vimprobable will read and parse it at startup.

The vimprobablerc file consists of a series of configuration options, one per line. Blank lines and lines starting with a colon (:) are seen as comments and will be ignored.

Settings and Mappings

vimprobablerc can have settings and mappings.

set is used to alter a default setting.
map is used to alter a default key-binding
