[Vimprobable-users] Does VP2 support websockets (and/or webm)?

Hi all,

It seems like some support may be there, but (on my machine at least) it
doesn't seem to work:

http://websocketstest.com/

Similar testing on Chromium/Firefox results in a succesful result.

Also, are we going to have webm support?

What would it take to implement these features (assuming this is not
just a local issue to me)

All tests passed on my system.

It will work as soon as your linked gstreamer engine supports it.

Both issues are really external to Vimprobable. I suggest you check the
version and build options of your libwebkit.

I'm not so familiar how the websockets are implemented, but for me it works if
I unset the http_proxy environment variable before starting the browser. To
disable it in vimprobable does not help. I assume that webkit uses the
http_proxy too.
