Not necessarily: if only one key were to be used, it would probably make more
sense to remain consistent and use the semi-colon.

As I said, this was just an observation but, carriage return or not, for such a
small set of keybinds, I find it odd to have to remember to hit shift to enter
another mode. Others mileage may vary.
