I suppose it's a runtime error. Can you launch eclipse from a shell and
see if the exception appears there?
I just tried my self from a clean account. Everything works as expected
for me:
* Ubuntu feisty
* java 1.5 (via ubuntu)
* eclipse 3.2 (via ubuntu)
* update site: http://vimplugin.sf.net/update
* install and restart eclipse
* new project, new test.txt, open with vim
Please try everything again from a completely new account on your
machine. If you get it working, please tell me about the problem: If
it's something we can do better we will ...
