Ah, intersting. Does it mean embedding will work under windows then? That 
will be intersting for a lot of people ....

More interesting is, that we have to support at least win32 and linux.

I seldom use windows, is there someone around who would like to feel 
responsible for testing under win32 ?

PS: A side note: Can we agree on using plain-text and inline quoting? 
It's sometimes hard to guess what an older thread was about if there are 
no reasonable quotes ...
