Did you put the URL into you're browser's address bar?
This URL is not meant to be used that way. It's for
the eclipse update manager.

In your eclipse use
- help|updates|find and install
- search for new features
- new remote site with the URL given above
- finish. A dialog should popup presenting you the plugin to install.
- restart eclipse.

I think it changed a bit with eclipse 3.4 / ganymede:

- help|software updates|available software
- add site
- paste the url into the text box
- expand the new site
- check the "Vimplugin" checkbox
- Install
