I just tried with a clean Eclipse v.3.1.2. Only the Eclipse updates were installed. I noticed that after the installation of the Vim plugin: 1. there was a directory under the 'features' directory with a single .xml file in it. 2. there was a .jar file under the 'plugins' directory bu there was not a Vim plugin directory. Still no entries in the 'Preferences' dialog for the Vim plugin. Is this the expected behavior? Hope this helps.
