By adding tags in CVS?

You specify the progress in the committing msg, 

ie.  $ cvs -q ci -m "60% finished" recover.txt

And i'll update the status page accordingly.

The status page is currently manually maintained, which is a pain.
Back about 2-3 month ago (or even longer), I had an attempt to 
automate this. However, it wasn't quite easy (of course, partly 
because I am not good enough). When I was 75% done with the script, 
something happend and the script is lost. After that I kind of 
give on this. For the moment, I don't have a plan to do this and
the status page on SF is quitely hidden. ;-)

hmmmmm. It sure is possible alright.
Any idea lads? Is this very important?

NO,it doesn't matter. I just wonder how our project progress can be reflected on the web page. Now I know the page is updated manually. :)
