I dunno why Chinese quotations would hurt (that user).  Vim can display
other Chinese characters but why cant it display Chinese quotations?  I
suspect there might be some configuration problems.

However i myself always use English quotes in the doc.  And i think it's
better if we have an unified standard WRT punctuations. 

FYI, following is a list of files containing Chinese quotations.  If
necessary, we can replace them with English ones easily with a perl
script.

That user said the double Chinese quotations are the cause of the
problem.  Just in case single Chinese quotations are also 'evil':
