1) The old script would remove all original *.txt files first and then install our translated files. Not the rite way. We should remain non-translated files. 2) I followed this thread. This is what i got: both woody and sid use *.txt.gz but one use help.txt and another use help.txt.gz. The new script copies the help.txt first and then gzips and copies all *.txt..gz files. So this way should work for both woody and sid. 3) The new script is shorter and simpler. =) So James (and other Debian users, probably?), would you please test it under your Debian box and tell us if it's okay?
