Sounds like you are planning to use wiki as a scratch pad or something.
So there is actually no need to keep the wiki pages synchronized with
CVS. The official documents would be whatever in the CVS and the
generated 
html version. Am I getting the wrong idea?

Fantasitic! Do we know who they are? (Maybe they are one of us?)
One more question, is there a way for people to get notification about
changes in WiKi pages, like the cvs-commit mailing list?
