I hope too. But this is a project excuted by volunteers. 
You can't force a person to do things. I think the current
way (wandsy's cvs say) is find as long as every boday 
stick with it. The thing you experienced will happen even
if we had a perfect tracking system. 

I hope you understand what I mean.

The status page on sourceforge is always there and updated
on time.
