Hi all, As the sourceforge site is now and then blocked, it is hard for us to keep track of progress and who's doing what by that status webpage. So wandys proposed the following: >> i just thought of a new way of taking translation tasks in case 'status page' could not be accessed: using CVS. Very simple. We use the existence of a file in CVS as a symbol showing that the file's already been taken on: Whenever a team member wants to take a new job, he/she first check if the file already existed in the CVS; Whenever a task is taken, the 'worker' first does an initial 'cvs commit' of that file(with empty content). >> I think it will work just fine if we all stick to the rule. So please in the future do what wandys has proposed. If anyone has any problem with this scheme, please send in your complaint asap. Rgds, lang |
