In my opinion, the term of ¿ª¹Ø is an uneducated translation of the English word 'electric switch', and hence ¿ª/¹Ø for On/Off. While a switch for a flow of fluid indeed resembles a door, the electric switch operates just opposit to that - when the switch is open, the current stops, and when closed, the current flows. Supprisingly, Chinese physicists had never corrected this and came up with a better term. However, I strongly believe there is one to replace it. --- ÕÅ È» <bla...@ms...> wrote: > Maybe ¿ªÆô/¹Ø±Õ is better though it is similar with > ¿ª/¹Ø. __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
