Indeed. Maybe there is a bug in the vim code. However, we are simply
translating the documentation. So make translations based on the
"advertised way" of working. I suggest you bring up the issue in the
vim developement mailing list and see what they think.

I don't think so. There are quite a few things that makes working with
Chinese in Vim different and that is only one of them.
