Hello list, Since quite some time I am happily using vim-latex even though I don't need its math-features I haven't got around to configuring for my needs yet. The other day I stumbled over a strange behaviour that I didn't notice before because I usually work without the inputenc package. As I edited I document with \usepackage[latin1]{inputenc} I wasn't able to get an "é" -- unless I preceded the input with CTRL-V. As far as I can see this happens *only* with "é", not with "ß", "ä" or even "í". And it only happens when latex-suite is loaded. What could be the reason for that? I am on MacOS 10.3.6 with vim6.3, latex-suite20040805. vim language is "C" and I am using the american keyboard layout (meaning I enter "é" via "CTRL-E e"). It's not that much of a problem but I'd like to know what's happening. c -- --->> <http://www.blacktrash.org/> |
