[Vim-latex-devel] [Contact] customizing environment mappings (the ones with E..)

is there a way to customzie the environment mappings, for example the way 
"EEN" is substituted?

I tried

let g:Tex_Env_enumerate = 
"\\begin{enumerate}[<++>]\<CR>\\item <++>\<CR>\\end{enumerate}"

but this 
works only for the <F5> method.

Any help is appreciated,
