[Vim-latex-devel] [Contact] Installation Problem?

I followed the installation instruction, but it does not seem to work.

I downloaded 
and installed vim 6.3 and extracted latexSuite.tar.gz in the vim directory. (I am 
using Yellow Dog linux and I assumed ~/.vim directory in the instruction meant the vim 
directory)

And I could not fine .vimrc file, but found vimrcexample file 
instead.

In the vimrcexample file, it is said copy this file to use it.

So, I copied 
it and assumed this as .vimrc file and changed it according to the instruction.

And 
after I installed help files, help files won't be opened if I type ":help 
latex-suite.txt" according to the instruction.

But, it will be opened if I type 
":help latex" instead.

After finishing installation procedure, I ran latex and it 
returns with the error message "bash: latex: command not found".

I think 
installation failed, but do not know what is wrong.

Please help me on this 
problem.
