It would be better if instead of keeping an empty file, you keep a
file with a comment line saying that this file is no longer used. Once
trying to figure out some function of latex-suite I was looking at all
the files and was surprised to find an empty multicompile.vim. I
thought that I had somehow downloaded a corrupt installation and it
took some time to realize that no other file sources
multicompile.vim. Having a comment saying that it is no longer
needed would have been useful.
