I might have tried it, come to think of it.  Was it based on
lightning completion?  

I once attended a lecture by S. S. Chern, (a well-known
geometrer) who said that the basic ideas are really very few 
(in mathematics).  Probably, the same is true with computers, 
so we should certainly make use of other peoples' ideas,
even from the emacs world.
